PERSONALITY
Louie is a very curious horse, but rather untrusting. He is not a pocket pony, and it takes time for him to warm up to people and really get to know them, and be handled by them, before he will be acceptable of them. He can be rather flighty at times, and has the habit of taking his attention away from the rider.
But all in all, Louie is really sweet. He is in the lower pecking order of horses, and is used to being pushed around. He doesn't seem to mind if he is in a paddock with other horses or not. He is not a caller, and only makes noise when it is feeding time.
HISTORY
Not a lot is known about the history of Louie, other than he was for sale at an auction in the middle-of-nowhere of Tennessee, as if Cedar Creek isn't back woods enough. But he was extremely emaciated and had over grown hooves. Rance had seen him, and just couldn't leave the poor thing there in that condition, so he bought him. It was then estimated by a vet that he was roughly two years old. But due to his condition, he couldn't be ridden or started until he was in full health, which actually wasn't until a few months ago.
Other than that, some abuse has been suspected since he is so untrusting of people, and can be spooky, especially with people he doesn't know very well.

SHOW NAME Rhinestone Cowgirl
BARN NAME
Cowgirl
HEIGHT
Fourteen. Three
BREED
Pinto (NPHR)
GENDER
Mare
COLOR
Black and White Overo
AGE
Five
PERSONALITY
Cowgirl is a very smart horse. She learns fast, and then tries to turn those 'new' rules against you. She is rather weary of strangers, but warms up rather quickly, especially with a session of join-up. She isn't spooky, but can use things as an excuse to spook if the rider is not confident. She feeds off of human emotions, almost more than a normal horse would.
Cowgirl isn't a lead mare, but she will show some attitude to horses that get to close to her, pinning ear, squealing, are just some of the things she does. She doesn't have any habits like that with people, and is rather easy to control, mainly due to her size. She will stand almost all day for grooming and attention.
HISTORY
Cowgirl was referred to Rance by a local farrier. The trimmer mentioned a client horse had a neighbor that had rather skinny looking horse next door, and he was concerned. So, naturally, Rance drove over to take a look. There were three horses in the small dirt pen, and Cowgirl was one of them. The horse trainer confronted the owners, asking what was going on, and it turned out to be a lack of money issue. The owners were not citied, and all of the horses found loving homes.
Rance was just hooked on those soft, bright blue eyes of the little mare, and he had to have her. That was two year ago. Cowgirl has been with him since, being trained, as is a rather broke horse, but it mostly labeled green still to new riders, as she doesn't accept them very much.
