STRENGTHS:
- She is a very strong person on the outside and convince herself that something doesn't bother her when really it does.
- She is a determined individual and she knows how to get what she wants.
- She puts on a very confident aura about her which can attract other people to her
- She can hold her own in most, if not all, situations.
- Extremely, and I mean extremely talented rider. She takes her riding very seriously and only thought about giving it up once when she was in high school but then decided that after missing two weeks of lessons that she loved riding and went right back to the saddle
WEAKNESS:
- She is more tender on the inside although hardly anyone ever sees it.
- She pushes people away, sometimes without even thinking about it because she feels that she has to to protect herself.
- She has a difficult time realizing her true emotions and accepting them.
ETC.: Kate, is a very complicated individual to say the least. On the outside, she's that girl that everyone loves to hate. She's loud, in your face, bold, confident to the point of cockiness sometimes, intelligent, and not to mention probably the biggest bitch this town has ever seen. She likes to think of herself as the "southern queen" because she can control, at least to a certain degree, almost everyone she meets. She loves power and control. She feels anxious and she panics if anyone else but her, is "holding the reins" so to speak. She likes to go out and have a good time. She likes to go to clubs and dance the night away with a drink or two perhaps but she isn't stupid enough to allow herself to get to a drunken state. That, would put her in a vulnerable position and she avoids those at all costs. She loves to flirt and play around with different men. She likes to spend just enough time with two or three guys at a time to keep them interested but to not let them think that it was a committed sort of a relationship. Let's just say that she knows she's beautiful and she uses it for her own games.
The other, smaller, almost unnoticeable part of Kate, is the softer, gentler, kinder Kate. This side of her, is the one that most people would fall in love with if she would ever let them see it. This small part of her is a good listener, a comforter, a helpful and loving friend, a loyal bestie, a good sense of humor, someone you can run to for help, someone you can tell your problems to (but be careful with that one because if you happen to piss her off later she will tell everyone everything that you said and then some). Unfortunately, the only "people" that get to see this side of her aren't really people at all. They are her animals. She loves them all dearly and can't stand the thought of any animal, hers or not, being treated poorly.

Tony Tonachino- Step father, accountant, 46 years old, limited contact with Kate.
SIBLINGS: Kristi Adams- sister, police officer, 23 years old, more contact with Kate than her parents but they only talk maybe once a week.
HISTORY: Kate has had a past that not everyone may have expected. The bitchy girl in town probably had a rich little spoiled life, right? Wrong. One may also think that she grew up with no parental guidance and she was permitted to run around and do whatever she pleased but that person would be wrong again.
Kate was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She hasn't ever left Tennessee for longer than a few weeks and that was only for competitions. She started riding at the age of five with her mother as her instructor. Her mother was a strict instructor and very critical of her daughter and her riding. Kate spent hours upon hours upon hours after school learning how to groom and lead and to put tack on until she could to it perfectly. She was in the school choir in elementary school all the way through high school. She also was on the swimming team.
Her schooling experience wasn't the most pleasant either. In middle school, she was bullied and picked on so much that she had to eat lunch in the bathroom to "avoid being pelted with ketchup packets." Her problem wasn't the way that she looked because she wasn't ugly. It was that she always got along better with boys and that irritated people. Her friends were always males and she wouldn't have traded them for anything. It was mostly girls who treated her this way which is the reason for her not liking girls. She was also not popular in high school. She felt as though everyone hated her and she was a total outcast. Kate has a very aggressive personality and girls didn't seem to like that. She only ever had one good friend who was female and Kate doesn't have contact with her anymore.
She was raised "very strictly Pentecostal" as she would say but she later attended Catholic services at the age of 12. Kate's parents were divorced when Kate was young. This messed Kate up a little bit. She felt abandoned by her father especially. She felt as though it was her fault that her parents got divorced. Because of this, she tries to fill that hole that she feels where her father used to be, with many different men who were often older than she was but not all the time.
Her mother re-married to Tony Tonachino when she was in high school. She says that they were very strict parents and would not allow her to have a boyfriend or invite friends over to their house. This also fueled her desire to rebel against her parents. She felt as though they were being "unfair" as most teenagers do but this was a little different. Not only had she been abandoned by her father but her new step dad, brought a whole new change of rules and her mother allowed it to happen. She was very angry about the whole situation and she moved out as soon as she had the money to support herself and she promised that she would never go back to her parents' house and she would never allow other people to control her again. Her "perfectionist" attitude still remains about her horse(s).
She moved here about six months ago to get away from her parents and her old life. She soon established herself, unintentionally, as a person that no one really liked. She was a bit discouraged at first but then came to the conclusion that all the girls that didn't like her were just jealous of her and she brushed them off. She's had her fun here messing around with different men and having a good time. It was here that she met a man that she didn't think was anything special he was a married man whom she had heard was going through a rough patch in his marriage. Rumors spread faster than wild fire in a small town. Long story, short; she went home with him and what she thought would be a one night stand turned into something a bit longer. They continued to sleep together for about a month. She thought that he was pretty good looking for an older guy. When his wife came back from wherever she had been, it had been said that she was with her sister but Kate doesn't know if she believes that, she and Mr. Hendricks still saw each other for about a week before his wife found out. She knew that he was hooked and that was satisfying enough for Kate. Perhaps maybe she felt something for him but perhaps not. She tells herself that she could care less about whether he wanted her or his wife but a small part of her brain doesn't believe it. She continues to play her games and she continues to piss people off because she thinks it's fun. She has changed a lot over her lifetime but she wouldn't want to change anything about who she is now.
