He’s an awesome guy, once you get to know him, despite the fact that he suffers from Chronic Insomnia. He’s had this problem since he was just a toddler. He’s got quiet the interesting attitude when it comes to particular…issues. If he catches someone being abusive, violent or trying to start a fight, he will make his way over and then start talking to both parties trying to hear both sides of the issue and then with extreme calmness he will get the parties to talk through the issue.
He can’t remember a time that he failed in this job. It’s not uncommon that you can catch this guy out and about, wandering around by himself just as the sun is rising or setting, and it’s also not uncommon to catch him relaxing at a table, on a bench or the like and reading a book, sketching, or people watching. He hardly sleeps because of his Insomnia but you can never tell it just from looking at him, nor into his eyes. He’s also often caught in the stables or at one of the other locations in town. He will never tell another person’s secret unless he has express permission. All in all, Erik’s quite the guy, if you want to try to befriend him.

HISTORY: Born in the depths of Spring, Erik was an excellent baby, he never cried for very long, nor did he keep his parents up at night. When his mother’s eyes fell upon the deep blue ones of him, she knew he was going to be the kind of child she had always wanted, it had just taken her two miscarriages and a still birth until she and Taylor had a successful pregnancy, but once she had had Erik, the doctor told her that she could not have any more children because of the complications she had faced prior to his birth.
This disheartened Elizabeth and Taylor, but they agreed to have Elizabeth go through a hysterectomy. When they got Erik home, they managed to get everything set up and just right for the new baby. As he grew, Erik was an excellent little boy, but by the time he was four years old, he was diagnosed with Insomnia. He slept less and less until by the age of ten, he had gotten to the point that no matter what they tried, he would be up all night with a rare twenty minute nap, but despite this he never changed from the way he was when he was born.
He didn’t keep his parents up, and he found his talents for art at the tender age of twelve and he was actually very good. By the time he had graduated from high school, he started watching and learning from his mother and his father, gaining his strengths and personal goals. At thirteen, he had gotten his first pets, and he was never without one after that. He succeeded school with excellent grades all throughout his school career, graduating as valedictorian of his college class. When his parents’ parents passed, they left Elizabeth, Taylor and Erik with a handsome sum of money, catapulting them into millionaire status.
However, the Torrent Family does not flaunt their wealth, they even lived in a small ranch house. Now that he’s out of his parents’ house, he has himself a small ranch house and an old Chevy Impala. But he has a beautiful sum of money in the bank but he does not live beyond his means. He wants to have a family, but he is not very good at making friends as he’s afraid that they would only love him for his money and then abandon him when they’ve taken quite a bit from his accounts. He also wants to have children, but again he’s worried a little about this as well. Despite this, he’s ready for a new chapter in his life, anyone wanna give him a try?
