{desc=Closed Thread }Taylor found herself wandering the mall, with absolutely no-one to hang out with, which was unfortunate. Hopefully she could make a new friend or two before she had to leave and go riding.
Well, if I don't make a friend, I know it's not because I'm awful! She smiled to herself, passing a clothing shop in the mall. What to shop for? Certainly not more horse stuff! Taylor barely contained a giggle. Her garage, barn, and entry way were jam-packed with horse stuff, between her and her niece, Jenny.
Taylor decided to stop at one of the small, uncrowded coffee shops in the mall. After buying a latte, she noticed a woman, looking to be around her age, possibly a few years older, sitting all alone. Taylor's over-kind mind went into affect, and she walked over and smiled, "Need a friend? I'm Taylor, Taylor Ronaldd." She extended her free hand.

Charlie thought unhappily as she marched into the mall. It was cold and that didn't do much to help her down in the dumps mood. Some retail therapy could do the trick. The last time the brunette had tried buying herself happiness she'd left a real dent in her bank account, but she vowed to make sure that wouldn't happen again. Besides, she was a lot better off now with her grandpa's money. Not wealthy, but manageable. It had been a while since Charlie had gone over a week without checking her bank account, and that felt pretty damn good.
The brunette entered the mall. Everywhere she looked there were people milling about, doing some post-holiday shopping. Things were certainly cheap enough now to do it. Charlie entered several stores, bought a few things here and there. After about an hour, however, she began to tucker out. I need a caffeine fix. She thought to herself. Not quite knowing where a coffee place would be, she wandered on a bit more before finding it. She was sure she'd die of caffeine deprivation, if that was at all possible. The brunette made her way to the counter and ordered. Once she got her latte she plopped down at a little table, feeling the stares of curious shoppers as they walked by. The perks of sitting in an open area.
The woman was reading through her emails when she heard a voice in front of her. She glanced up, a bit startled, to see another woman in front of her. But she smiled when she introduced herself. "Ha, are you a mind reader?" Charlie joked before extending her hand. "Pleased to meet you, Taylor. I'm Charlotte West. You can call me Charlie." The brunette grinned, feeling as though she were maybe dreaming. Were people really this friendly or outgoing? "You can have a seat if you'd like."

Jordan smiled, shaking Charlie's hand. "Unfortunately, I am not a mind reader. Though, I wish I was sometimes!" She cautiously took a seat, looking intently at Charlie's expression.
"Oh, I'm so rude! Nice to meet you too, Charlie!" She'd almost forgotten the reply, which she kicked herself for. Fortunately, she felt Charlie was forgiving enough. "I can tell by your expression that you're wondering if all of us are this outgoing and practically rude. The answer is no, I don't think so."
Ever since Taylor's niece, Jenny Humphrey, had come to stay with her, Taylor had been a bit on the mean side. Mostly because Jenny was a bratty, snotty, little rat, who disobeyed anything and everything anyone had to say, just because she wanted Taylor's money and status.

"That's alright!" She watched her new companion sit down across from her and smiled. Taylor seemed nice enough. Hell, anybody who went out of their way to make friends with someone they thought looked lonely had to have been a saint. "Hm, still not convinced about the mind reader thing. I was actually just thinking about that." She paused for a beat before continuing. "Oh, not rude at all! I appreciate it. I kinda felt like a loser just sitting here by myself. Now I look like I came here and am actually interacting with people!" The brunette half joked. She'd caught the stares received from people walking by. She'd often cast them on other people. She didn't know why but her whole life she'd hated seeing people sit and eat by themselves. It kind of made her sad. She knew that sometimes people just wanted some alone time, but still.
"But trust me. The company is much appreciated. I just moved here, haven't met many people... if you haven't guessed that one yet." Charlie took a sip of her coffee and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I've just done some shopping. Not much fun when you're by yourself though." Realizing she was rambling, she felt heat creep across her cheeks. "Oops. Sorry. Totally rambling here." Charlie grinned, deciding then to shut up and let Taylor talk.

*taylor jane ronaldd,
Taylor laughed lightly, "If only I could prove to you that I'm no supernatural being." Taylor contemplated ordering something to eat, but then decided against it. She only had a few dollars left, she'd spent all her money on shopping.
Taylor nodded, "Oh, I could tell. I've lived here my entire life, and trust me, this is not the most fun place. The riding arena is, for me, anyways. Do you have a horse?" Hoping Charlie was interested in one, she asked tentatively. Sparkie was a great horse, but he just wasn't right for Taylor, and though she knew that New Hope was a great place, it just didn't feel right to her to bring him there.
"Probably not to you, but it's just my personality. I forget little things and call myself rude, so I remember next time." For whatever reason, whenever Taylor made a new friend, she always compared them to Tally, which she hated. Not that she hated Tally - the two were literally best-friends for life - she just hated comparing people to one another, and it astonished her that she did.
People usually got used to Taylor's oddness after they met Tally, because she broke it down and explained it to them. Most of the time, they ended up thinking Taylor was too good to be true, but if they met Jenny, her niece, people would probably get why she was so nice.
