ETC.: Miley is a growing young adult, therefore she still has the ever changing attitude of a teenager, just a tad bit more mature. To narrow the dark side of her personality down here are a few traits: Stubborn. Miley is mule-headed about everything. You could be Einstein and she will still refuse to say you're right. It's her way or the high way, and if not she will eventually get over it. Once she is proven she isn't a sore loser. She doesn't mind mistakes because she likes to learn from them. Competitive. In any sport or academic activity she has ever been in, Miley puts up a good fight. She is intelligent (even if she doesn't like school) and likes to do her best for the best results. This interferes with her riding. Miley sets her mind on something and works for it. Organized. Her room is always clean 24/7. She has a place for everything and knows when someone moved it. Her family's barn has been touched by the organized monster, as well as the entire house. She forces everyone to keep everything tidied up. Miley swears she is OCD, but her doctor laughs it off every time. Laid back. This gal is far from the hyper young adult that wants to go out and explore the world in 80 days - sure Miley might explore the world, but in her own time. She often procrastinates chores. Rarely does she ever get riled up about anything and is often the cool headed problem solver in her household. Free spirited. Like most hicks or from the song 'American Honey' -free as a weed- Miley likes to roam around and do whatever she pleases. She tries not to break any laws or rules, but if she feels like walking barefooted through the hay field then she will.
Now for the good trails of Miley that everyone sees. Let's start off with a trait that not too many girls have. Confident. Girls in this day/age think if you have confidence then you're stuck up, if you have none then you're depressed. Miley is neither of the two - she's happy in her own skin. She isn't afraid to be herself or how she looks. Happy go lucky. You could call Miley 'Miss Cheery' and she would giggle at you. She sees the bright side of every situation and loves to make anyone smile. She almost always has a smile on her own face (except when riding because then she gets that serious face that every rider gets). Down to earth. Truthfully Miley does day dream once in awhile and she likes to use her imagination whenever she gets the chance, but she doesn't let life slip on by. Miley is constantly doing something for her own/family's good. She does have dreams she would love to accomplish and by golly she will work towards them. Sassy. Miley won't take any snootie bootie talking down on her. She feels like every bully needs to be put in her place and if someone else won't do it, then she will. Miley always has a comeback for everything. She is often scolded by her mother for her sass, but Miley can't help it. Family oriented. A major part of Miley's life is her family. She loves her entire family with her entire heart. She loves to make their day brighter and help them with any way she can. Her family is tied first with horses in her 'Top 10 Things She Needs In Life'.

HISTORY: BEFORE THE MOVE: It was late evening September 24th. The stars were dotting the purple sky, the sun's rays could be glimpsed, and the night air was chilly. It was a perfect fall night and Suzanna was sitting on her front porch rocking chair enjoying it. As you can predict, a few minutes later her water broke. Andrew drove their old car to the nearest hospital (for they lived on the out skirts of Nashville) and sooner than later he was holding infant Miley Nichole Hyland in his arms. It was a smooth delivery and the family was able to leave the next morning. This was the Hyland's first child - she was their guinea pig. Miley was aloud to do whatever she wanted until she was caught. This could be the reason why she is free spirited, but she grew up good according to her parents. She was never spoiled and enjoyed being a country girl. When she was nine her baby sister, Claire, was born. Now that the Hyland's knew what parenting was about, Claire was under strict watch. She wasn't aloud to do half the stuff that Miley was but the toddler didn't know that. The family lived happily on a small farm. Suzanne was a stay at home mom while Andrew worked on the assembly line. On the farm there were horses that Miley always rode, but she didn't learn how to professionally ride until she was six. After that a local trainer would come to their house once a week to give Miley lessons. She loved riding whether it was jumping a course or riding bareback in the field. Things were great until Andrew's work told him they were shipping him off to Kentucky. Suzanne refused to move which caused the husband and wife to argue. Resulting in a divorce, one child per parent, and Suzanne struggling for money.
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY: Forced to get a job, Suzanna got a job as a waitress at a restaurant in the city. There she met strapping David who won her heart. Introducing him to Miley went fairly well. She tested him her entire life up until he proposed to Suzanne to see if he was the right one for her momma. The family was tired of living in the same old town where too much happened to them. They decided to move to Cedar Creek which was closer to both of their sides of the family. Miley was okay with the move, she didn't want to leave her friends. But her horse was able to come with her so she was perfectly content. Following through with the legal arrangements, Claire and Miley rotated staying at each parent's house over every break. As for Miley's step brother, she has only met him once. Since he's in the army he is gone for long periods of time. When they did meet, they were civil and seemed to enjoy being 'family'.
UP TO DATE: The Hyland/Jones family are still living in Cedar Creek. Miley has graduated and is still undecided on what she wants to do with her life. Being the equestrian that she is, she wants to be in the Olympics. But that means she has to show to get experience. Miley has never showed a day in her life, all she ever has done is have lessons with her horse. She doesn't mind living wither her mother and step-dad, but hopes she can move out to start her own life. She is amazingly good with horses and was a natural as her trainer told her. But she has to make the decision between college or her dream.
