ETC.: Mia is a fiesty woman who has a passion for horses. She hasn't yet come across any horse who has 'scared' her enough to not ride it, there might not be such a thing out there. Despite being a sarcastic, firecracker amongst humans she has a soothing way with horses. Give her a little while and she will work her magic, solving a horse's problem which is usually just rider error. Interactions with humans is different. Despite being sarcastic and quite friendly on the surface she is broken up inside. That which was caused from a handful of relationships which had shattered into millions of pieces along with her heart. She hopes one day it can be whole again.
IT'S ALL IN THE PAST.

HISTORY: Mia was born and raised in Maryville, Tennessee. Both parents where famous riders, her mother competed in europe in show jumping while her father was a world champion reiner. From the start she was fortunate enough to be able to have a pony of her own. Snickers, a 14.1 quarter horse gelding, was her first mount. Mia learned both english and western on him. Learning each enabled her to be well rounded, giving her a solid leg as well as a soft seat and hands. Since she was six years old she competed with her parents, winning countless ribbons from 6th to Junior champion. It wasn't unlike her to go home with out some sort of ribbon but Mia never really cared for the ribbons, she was just happy that everything would go smoothly and that whichever horse she rode was behaving properly. Whenever something would go wrong with the trucks or trailors Mia would always pay close attention to her father since he had a gift for fixing any engine. Over the years she has picked up that trait as well, it has definitely come in handy.
During high school Mia stopped competing since she really buckled down on her school work so that she could have come sort of successful job in her future. It was throughout these few years in which she gained more interest in the whole breeding and training aspect of the horse business. She was able to learn about this at her families farm. The McKettricks have a massive property on the outskirts of Maryville. There's six seperate barns, two breeding, two foaling, and two training barns. One of each is either her mothers warmbloods while the other's are her fathers quarter horses. High school was also the time in which she became interested in boys just like any other girl would do.
Unfortunatly Mia has an a way of falling for the guys who turn out to be jerks. They'd use her or even cheat on her, thus always leaving her with a broken heart in the end since she would always think that they'd be her prince charming in the end. Mia has always wanted to get married young and start a family before continuing in her families name in breeding and training horses. At 18, instantly out of high school, she went to the University of New Hampshire, majoring in equine reproduction and minoring in equine science. Four short years later she graduated with her bacholers degree before returning to her family's farm to work. Now she's here with her mare trying to find a job as a trainer or as a reproduction manager. Only time will tell if she'll find a job here or even accomplish any of her dreams. It's tough to get your own name out there when everyone only knows you due to who your parents are.
