PERSONALITY Ducky is one of the sweetest horses that you may ever meet, he's pretty much like a huge dog and will make friends with anyone and everyone. He is an in your pocket kind of horse and all he wants is attention. He is a very well trained horse and Eira would trust the gelding with anyone, including her daughter. This little gelding takes the abuse of having his mouth pulled on, being told to do ten things at once without his rider understanding what she's asking him, and is pretty much bomb proof. He doesn't spook at anything, at least from what Eira and little Madeline have noticed, but that's not saying if the gelding was being chased by a rabid animal that he wouldn't spook. But, he doesn't spook at the normal everyday things. He is very protective of his rider and takes good care of who ever is on his back.

HISTORY Ducky was born and raised on a farm in Kentucky, he lived there until he was five when the Pryce family bought him as a five year old. He was Eira's first horse, the one she learned how to ride on and took lessons on for four years until she moved to college. Ducky went with of course and over the next six years the two bonded more and more. It wasn't until recently that Madeline, Eira's young five year old daughter started learning to ride the fifteen year old gelding. He's calmed down a huge amount over the last ten years and almost instantly bonded with the little girl who is learning to ride and take care of him.

PERSONALITY Swifty is a regal stallion, he is calm and calculating. He is always willing to please, but is always full of a little extra spunk. His mindset is of a much younger horse.Swifty is very testy with every rider regardless of who is riding him unless he knows the person well. The young stud is not nippy at all and is usually good horse on the ground. He is a stud and can be a little unpredictable at times; however he has been through extensive natural horsemanship ground training and under saddle with Eira and knows, trusts, and respects her. She would not trust just anyone riding him but has been known to ride the stud with Maddie riding in the saddle with her.

HISTORY Born on a show barn in North Carolina Swifty was extensively imprinted at birth, getting him used to everything possible at a young age, because of his color and amazing conformation at such a young age, they decided to keep him a stud. But, the barn decided on another colt and Carson Miller the yearling stud colt for his young bride, Eira. While juggling school, a baby, and work, she somehow managed to work with him on ground manners and prepared for training, which with a great deal of help from a friend she managed to do without hurting herself when he was two. It's been two years since then and Swifty and Eira are bonded and make a great team, at fun shows and trail riding mostly, but they still are amazing together and trust each other deeply.

PERSONALITY Thud is an ottb, and the biggest goof you'll ever meet. He is a jokester and you better hold tight to your hoods, hats, lead rope, and anything else this big boy can grab from you. Don't let his foolish nature mess with you though, he is also the biggest puppy dog you'll ever meet in your life. He loves to be pampered and will stand for hours in the cross ties if he's getting groomed, washed, anything that revolves around people paying attention to him. He loves everyone, he nickers at everyone, and wants attention from everyone. He is also one of the laziest horses you may ever meet. After his racing career ended, he slowed everything way down and you have to work him to even get him into a fast walk. He is a very well trained gelding, after a year off to be a horse and easy going training, anyone can ride this gelding. He is not the "typical ottb" and isn't going to act crazy or do something stupid, he's too lazy to do anything stupid.

HISTORY From the get go Thud's only expectation in life was to be fast and to make money. He was good at it, until the end of his second season of racing as a three year old when vet and trainer noticed the very slightly bowed tendon. After that he was retired from racing and shipped off to an auction, since he was of no use to them. Carson Miller just happened to be looking for a horse and decided he wanted something fast and powerful to ride, even though his wife Eira warned he wouldn't want the gelding because he would need to spend thousands to retrain him, plus give him at least a year off to cool down from his sudden racing end. the man didn't listen and bought the three year old gelding; soon after realizing his wife was right, he left it up to her to nurse the gelding back to health. She came to fall in love with the young gelding, seeing how sweet he was and how loving he was. She nursed him back to health and let him be a horse for once, while working on his ground manners; then after a year she sent him to her friend and horse trainer who worked nice and slow with the gelding. It didn't take long, since Thud was so willing to please, to get the gelding suitable for riding. That's when Carson came around the horse again, he hated the horse because of his easy going nature and how slow he was. He threatened to ship the gelding off because he was a "dud" but Eira convinced him not to; she leased him out part time to a young girl who rode him in the local shows. Now that the move is final, as is the divorce Thud has been getting tons of attention, since Eira doesn't have to worry about Carson anymore and has been out to see him everyday and not to mention that little Maddie is in love with the gelding. in the future it is more than likely that the young girl will move on to him when she is ready for a bigger horse.
