- to rebuild her grandfathers farm.
FEARS:
- having a relationship like her parents had.
- being alone.
- disappointing the people she cares about.
STRENGTHS:
- loyal
- persuasive
- extremely skilled rider, despite having just picked it up again
WEAKNESS:
- takes a while to actually trust people.
- is very suspicious of things.
- has no backbone.
ETC.: Charlie is a bit quiet and shy upon first meeting her. It takes a while for her to get to know people, but that doesn't mean she isn't friendly to everyone she meets. She goes out of her way to be nice to people, but to form a personal relationship with them is another story. Once you get to know her, however, Charlie is a good person to be around. She loves to laugh and have a good time, and isn't opposed to going to the bar for a drink and some fun on the weekend. She has a dry sense of humor and can be very sarcastic. She loves to tease people, but only in good fun.
Charlie is also incredibly loyal and protective. The few close friends she has can attest to this. Once she likes you and gets to know you, you've got a friend for life. She hates drama and gossip and tries to avoid it at all costs. Charlie is also incredibly passionate, especially about horses. You can tell she loves something by looking into her eyes when she talks about it.
WHO SAYS THAT APPEARANCES AREN'T EVERYTHING?
Charlie stands about average height at 5'7". She has dark brown hair that hangs past her shoulders and blue eyes. She's also pretty small, but not skinny- she likes to work out and keep in shape so she can ride.
IT'S ALL IN THE PAST.

PARENTS: Claire and Alexander West
SIBLINGS: No siblings.
HISTORY: Charlie was born in Nashville on December 20, 1986. Her mom worked at a publishing company and her father was a stock broker, so she came from a fairly well off family. However, with both of her parents working full time, she never really had that close of a relationship with either of them. She was an only child and was often greeted by an empty apartment when she came home from school each day. Her parents must have felt bad at some point because they rewarded her with horseback riding lessons. Charlie loved it, but the older she got she found the less time she had for it and gave it up altogether with a heavy heart. Because of the distance she felt from her parents, she wasn't too surprised when she found out they were divorcing. Her father had found a much younger, much prettier woman than his wife and left his family to be with her. Claire, completely blindsided, packed what she had and took her daughter out to Nashville, Tennessee, not too far from the small town of Cedar Creek where her father lived. By the time Charlie was 20, she had only visited her grandfather twice and her mother had met another man. She moved out to Texas with him, but Charlie, having already established a life of her own in Nashville, stayed behind. When her grandfather got sick and she found that nobody had gone to take care of him, she started to visit him every weekend. It was a three hour commute each way, but she loved her grandfather and wanted to take care of him. On the rare occasion she had spare time, Charlie would visit with the horses and her childhood passion was reignited. He passed away a few months ago, and Charlie decided to move out to Cedar Creek. She had inherited everything. His house, his small farm, and the antique shop her grandfather ran in town. She also inherited a sizeable fortune- the old man had a fair sum of money nobody knew about. Charlie has been in town for about 6 months but hasn't really made any friends- she's been super busy sorting through her grandfather's business affairs and running the shop. The closest friend she's made she thinks may be interested in her and she'd be interested in pursuing a relationship with him at some point, but he's got such a muddled relationship with his ex she's afraid to try. So for now she's living and working on her own, but she doesn't mind it too much. However, things are about to get a little messy when her father comes snooping around, and of course she doesn't trust his motives.
